Release Date: May 26, 2026
Hey everyone,
This release is all about making the Secuna Platform easier to get started with and easier to navigate — whether you're a new organization just finding your footing or an admin streamlining your setup workflows. We focused on opening up more of the platform to unverified organizations earlier in their journey, simplifying the VAPT program setup flow, and introducing Basic Plan slot management for Secuna Hunt and Secuna Response. Read on for the details!
Previously, organizations had to complete verification before they could explore or create any programs on the platform — a barrier that slowed down the initial experience for new clients. With this update, unverified organizations can now access the Programs tab right away, browse all three program types (Secuna Pentest, Secuna Hunt, and Secuna Response), and take meaningful first steps without waiting for verification to complete. Admins and org owners will see appropriate CTAs for each program type, and the tab adapts its display depending on whether programs already exist.
Building on Programs tab access, unverified organizations can now go all the way through and submit a pentest application via the internal pentest questionnaire. Before this change, users from unverified organizations would hit a wall when trying to apply — the form was effectively inaccessible to them. Now, their submissions are recorded on the admin side and reflected immediately in their Programs tab, so nothing falls through the cracks while they await verification.
Unverified organizations can now subscribe to the Basic (Free) Plan for both Secuna Hunt and Secuna Response, with a cap of up to 3 active Basic Plan subscriptions per program type. Previously, free plan access was restricted to verified organizations, which created unnecessary friction for new clients who just wanted to get started. The Subscription Plan Selection screen now clearly reflects slot availability — the Get Started Free button is enabled when slots are available and changes to Limit Reached with a helpful tooltip when the cap has been reached. Standard and Enterprise plans remain locked until verification is complete.
When an organization cancels a Basic Plan program for Secuna Hunt or Secuna Response, that program now transitions to Ended status and its slot is immediately freed — allowing the organization to start a new program without delay. The slot counter updates in real time both on the frontend and backend, so the Get Started Free and Renew Subscription buttons respond immediately to the freed capacity. This applies consistently to both verified and unverified organizations.
The Organization Verification Status component on the dashboard and the full Organization Verification Page (Settings > Verification) have both been redesigned to reflect a simplified two-tier model: Unverified and Verified. The previous multi-level system has been replaced with a clearer, more intuitive layout — the verification page now presents the two tiers as step-like cards with state-specific content, CTAs (like Follow Up Request and Re-verify), and a Your Current Features panel on the right that updates based on the organization's current status.
The VAPT setup flow has been significantly simplified by removing the Proposal Review and Payment steps from both the admin platform and the Secuna Platform. For admins, internal VAPT setup is now a single-step flow (Program Creation), and external VAPT setup is now 3 steps instead of 5. On the organization side, the VAPT program progress indicator has been updated to a clean 4-step flow: Scope Review → Setup → Team Invitation → Launch. All related status chips, notifications, and step indicators across both platforms have been updated to match.
