As organizations adopt a more granular and up-to-date approach to evaluating vulnerabilities, we’re excited to announce the addition of the CVSS 4.0 Calculator to the Secuna Platform. This update empowers both organizations and hunters to stay aligned with the latest global standards in vulnerability reporting and management.

🧮 CVSS 4.0 Calculator

Hunters can now utilize the CVSS 4.0 Calculator when submitting reports, enabling them to provide a more detailed severity assessments. Likewise, triagers can leverage the calculator to better evaluate vulnerabilities based on refined scoring metrics — allowing them to align findings with their organization’s specific risk appetite and business context.

🤔Flexible Severity Scoring Options

We’ve made it easy for organizations to choose the scoring method that fits their needs — whether they stick with CVSS 3.1, switch to CVSS 4.0, or simply selecting an appropriate severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low, None) — it’s all up to them, every organization has the flexibility to apply severity ratings that align with their internal standards and cybersecurity workflows!

In addition, we also rolled out key fixes and improvements in the Secuna Platform. You may view the details below:

🛠️ Functional Bugs and Enhancements

• We applied a fix on the onclick behavior on organization and program settings that redirects user to a page instead of just toggling the options.
• We applied a fix on the attachment and displaying of a payment method when renewing a program subscription manually.

👁️ Visual Bugs and Enhancements

• We applied a fix on the wrong program type label being displayed in the pending invites page of the hunters.
• We applied a fix on the wrong on-hover behavior on the sidebar.
• We applied a fix on minor UI issues in the report submission page for hunters.
