Release Date: May 9, 2023
Hey everyone,
We're excited to announce that we've rolled out a beta release of our new Program Collaboration Feature! 🥳
Alongside this feature release, we've also fixed a few bugs. We know that technical debt can pile up quickly, so we wanted to make sure to address any issues as soon as possible. 🥶
Here are the details about this release:
We understand that triaging vulnerability reports submitted to your programs can be a pain. That's why we've created the Program Collaboration Feature! This feature allows you to add Secuna's security team as external collaborators of your Secuna Pentest programs. This way, we can help you monitor the vulnerability reports in your program and assist you as much as we can.
Here are the capabilities of the Program Collaboration Feature:
Certified Collaborator Tag: Organizations can get a certified collaborator tag, which indicates that members from this organization are allowed to be added as program collaborators in another organization’s programs. For this release, we are only giving this special tag to Secuna but we would be happy to have other cybersecurity providers on board in the future!
View External Programs: For organizations certified as collaborators, an External Programs
option has been added in their sidebar for them to easily navigate programs that they are added in as collaborators.
Access Control: Collaborators have are given proper access control to view program details and reports from a program that they are collaborating in.
Notifications: We've added notifications for organization users to inform them when Secuna admins add or remove collaborators in their program. This way, you'll always be in the loop about who gains access to your program.
View Collaborators Tab: We've added a Collaborators
tab in the program sidebar so that program members can see the list of external collaborators in their program. This makes it easy to find and contact the people who are working with you on your program.
Please take note that adding collaborators can only be done by admins from Secuna since only our organization gets the certified collaborator tag for now. We hope you find these updates helpful! As always, we're always working to improve our products and services, so stay tuned for more updates in the future.
We've also made some miscellaneous improvements to the platform, including:
